Gingerbread

We made some gingerbread in cooking this week. It was tricky to roll out the dough without it sticking to the pin but I managed it in the end and cut out some shapes! 

Maori Christmas

I love singing so I really enjoyed a sing-a-long in our Maori Culture session. We sang some Christmas songs in Te Reo Maori! 

Xmas Play

I had a blast singing and acting in the Christmas production with my friends. I was a King and wore an amazing blue robe! King Josh!!!

Mosaic

I helped out making a new Mosaic "Arohanui Wilrose" sign to decorate our art room! Here I am working on the letter I. 

Jigsaw

I had a go at doing the "Where's Wally" jigsaw today.  It was fun!

Wedges

We made some yummy wedges with bacon, sour cream and salsa! Oh yeah - scrummy!

Volunteer group

On a Monday our volunteer group have been collecting supplies for our farm visits. We got cement and concrete from mitre ten to make moulds and we also got stationery for the centre.

Baked potatoes

We made baked potatoes in cooking. I helped to scrap out the potatoe from the skins.

Personal Books

I am creating a Personal Book with all the cool stuff that I will be doing throughout the year! It will be colourful and full of awesome pictures and photos! 

Veggie Pasta Bake

We made a delicious vegetable pasta bake. I chopped the onion, stirred the veggies in the frying pan and mixed all the ingredients together. It turned out sooooo yummy!

We made amazing pumpkin soup which we got to take home to enjoy, yum.

My super hero book is looking fantastic. 

Salad

I really practised my chopping skills making this salad and kumura wedges today. It looked great when we put everything together!

We are learning how to play the ukulele in music.

Pirate Drama

I played the part of a pirate in the recent drama show! Aargh!!!!!! Mateys!!!!!! People said I was the star of the show because of my awesome dancing!

Eggs!

I made scrambled eggs and pikelets today. Look at the info board I helped create. It has lots of info and lots of the recipes I have used to cook eggs!

Drama

I'm a pirate in the new play we are rehearsing at drama! Great fun!

Art/craft

Working on my tiger painting. It is very detailed and takes lots of concentration.

Toastie Omelette

Thumbs up! I created an "Egg-cellent Omlette Toastie". It has bacon, onion, cheese and tomato in it! Yum yum!!!!

Clean-up

I'm always ready to help out at clean up time at the end of the day. My job is to help clean in the kitchen. Our team always does a great job!

Poached Eggs

I really enjoyed cooking a poached egg ....... And I really enjoyed eating it later on at home! Yum! Looking forward to making a quiche next week!

Op shop

We have been sorting and cleaning the shoes at the SPCA op 

Quiche

I helped make a quiche. I started by expertly cracking 6 eggs into a bowl without a single piece of shell getting in there. It turned out so well!

I am still working on my beach painting. It is coming along nicely.

Drama production

I was the colonel in the Sound of music drama production. It was fantastic.

Awesome omelette

I made this awesome omlette in cooking.
